New IEMA Certification Means We’re Taking Sustainability Seriously
Congratulations to our HSE & Compliance Manager, Thomas Hopkins, who has successfully achieved his IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management!
The 40-hour course, completed via online learning, covers a wide range of environmental, sustainability and governance principles and has given Thomas a solid understanding of the breadth of the sustainability agenda, alongside the management tools, techniques and skills that can be used to improve sustainability performance.
Now an Associate Member of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment), Thomas has a greater knowledge – as well as ongoing access to a range of resources and guidance – to support Merkland Tank as we push forward with our own environmental and sustainability goals.
