Spotlight on: Supporting the Renewables Sector with professional tank services for Anaerobic Digestion Sites
We recently provided tank cleaning support to our client in the renewables sector, in preparation for the replacement of the Balance Tank at their Anaerobic Digestion (AD) site.
Our operatives first cleared the feed lines and drained down the tank to remove the residual waste. Our specially-trained confined space team (equipped with full breathing apparatus) were then able to safely enter the tank and complete the clean to a gas-free standard, prior to the tank being demolished on-site.
The high-suction power of our impressive CycloVac SkyTipper enabled us to efficiently pump out around 100 tonnes of liquid sludge and solids, for safe and compliant disposal.
This month, we also exhibited at the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) Scottish Conference in Edinburgh!
