SPECIALIST SUPERYACHT SUPPORT SERVICES
Merkland Tank provides professional planned and short-notice tank cleaning, waste removal and industrial cleaning services to support the maintenance and operation of superyachts and other luxury vessels.
From the removal of oily water, bilge waste, grey/black water and sludge, to the cleaning of fuel and waste oils tanks and associated systems, our experienced teams provide safe and efficient solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each vessel.
We understand that access can be restricted and that work often needs to be completed within tight timeframes, particularly when a vessel is in port or undergoing costly planned maintenance.
Using our own high-performance tankers and advanced water jetting equipment, we can safely remove waste, residues and accumulated deposits while minimising disruption to the vessel and its crew.

Our comprehensive fuel tank servicing covers fuel tanks, dispensing equipment and underground pipeline pressure testing across Scotland’s coastline.
- Our experienced engineers service everything from 10,000-litre horizontal steel tanks to bespoke 2,000-litre rectangular units housed within station buildings.
- The job includes hot water high pressure tank cleaning to remove all traces of residue, alongside our liquid vacuum tankers.
- Each site received thorough servicing, including fuel sampling and pressure testing, with detailed reports.
- Managing logistics across 24 remote locations presents unique challenges, particularly with ferry-dependent sites subject to weather disruptions.
