LAGAVULIN
- Merkland Tank spent 8 weeks on Islay carrying out shutdown works at several of the island's distilleries.
- At Lagavulin, our team cleaned Spirit Stills, Wash Chargers, Low Wine and Feints Receivers, a Pot Ale and Effluent Tank and a Still House Sump and Duct.
PORT ELLEN
- Moving to Port Ellen Maltings, we continued with various confined space tank cleaning works, including a Recovery Water Tank.
- We also completed retro-jetting of Boiler Tubes and cleaning of the Site Boiler and Oil Sump.
LOCH LOMOND
- For over 20 years, Merkland Tank have carried out the annual 2 week silent season clean of Silos, Pot Ale Tanks, Feed Tanks and Concentrate Tanks at Loch Lomond Distillery.
- We also regularly clean the Boilers, Cooling Tower and Interceptors on site.
LAPHROAIG & BOWMORE
- In addition to cleaning MFO Tanks at both distilleries, Merkland Tank also supported our valued client by completing shutdown works.
- During the 8 day period we completed the cleaning of various Tanks and Vessels, including Fermentation Vessels and associated Pipework and Site Boiler.
