Stuart Chalmers Represents Merkland Tank at recent Scottish Engineering Event

In March 2024, Stuart Chalmers, our Business Development Manager, strengthened Merkland Tank’s networking opportunities by attending a Scottish Engineering networking event at Forth Ports Limited in Leith.
The Member Networking and Best Practice meeting brought together member companies from various sectors, providing a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry professionals.
During the event, Stuart had the opportunity to meet Paul Sheerin, the Chief Executive of Scottish Engineering.
The event gave Stuart the opportunity to discuss and share Merkland Tank’s range of services, particularly our vessel cleaning, bilge and waste uplifts and tank cleaning for various sectors.
Stuart also engaged with presentations highlighting renewable energy initiatives and forthcoming plans for the redevelopment of Leith port.
